立法院交通委員會今天初審通過氣象法部分條文修正草案，除警報、豪雨與颱風以外，其他如龍捲風、冰雹等開放民間氣象公司經中央氣象局許可參與預報。

初審通過條文規定，機關、學校、團體或個人經中央氣象局許可者，得發布氣象或海象預報，但不得發布警報或災害性天氣中的豪雨及颱風預報。

提案修法的民主進步黨籍立法委員葉宜津會後受訪表示，修正重點在於放寬氣象預報除豪雨、颱風與警報以外，開放民間可參與天氣預報，但民間氣象公司仍須有執照。另外，媒體引述外國媒體或專家學者的氣象預報，應同時註明中央氣象局發布的警報或災害性天氣預報，供民眾參考。
